Chris joined WPTI in March 2006. He works with the Executive Director on fundraising and development for the organization, as well as with continuous quality improvement efforts. Prior to WPTI, Chris was Director of School-Based Programs and Giving at Children for Children, a New York City nonprofit that promotes youth volunteerism. He graduated magna cum laude from the College of William & Mary in Virginia with a degree in English Literature.

Gwen Hill

Ms. Hill joined WPTI in September 2007.  She works with the staff to coordinate training program logistics, including the maintenance of the student registration system, and provides administrative support to WPTI.  Gwen has a BA in Music and a BS in Environmental Studies from Florida State University and is currently working toward her MA in Geography at Hunter College.

Amy Landesman

Ms. Landesman joined WPTI as the Director of Training in April 2005. In this capacity, she creates curricula and manages all the training initiatives. Previously, she was the Director of Training & Technical Assistance at NADAP. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY-Albany and her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from New York University.

Lou Miceli

Mr. Miceli founded Workforce Professionals Training Institute in 2003. The organization has developed over 40 different training programs and products specifically designed to improve workforce development organizational performance reaching hundreds of organizations and thousands or practitioners. Lou has trained staff locally and nationally in a variety of contexts, and within many sectors. He has authored training curriculum for businesses, non-profits, and government. Lou earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Social Work degree for the Ehrenkranz School of Social Work at New York University, and a Master of Science in Management degree at the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.

Dan Salemson

Mr. Salemson joined WPTI in March 2006 as the Training & Project Manager. Prior to WPTI, Dan served as Director of Workforce Development for Midtown Community Court, a joint venture of the New York State Unified Court System and the nonprofit Center for Court Innovation. He graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with degrees in History and Political Science.

Houda Zahir

Houda Zahir, Communications Manager
Ms. Zahir joined WPTI in March 2008. She manages the participant course registration process and marketing efforts for the organization, as well as core administrative functions. Prior to WPTI, Houda served as Production Coordinator at Sandy Alexander and as a Designer at USA Today. She graduated from Kean University with a MS and BS in Graphic Communications Management, as well as a Minor in Management Science.
