September was an enriching month of programs at WPTI on various topics to support workforce development practitioners. Check out the highlights and photos from our four trainings. WPTI's Board of Directors and Staff hosted our third annual Fall Benefit on September 25th. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with a record turnout of over 100 guests from the workforce development field and beyond. We had much to celebrate with the growth of our organization and addition of the Workforce Field Building Hub.

On September 19, The Field Building Hub’s "Monitoring the Minimum Wage" brief series served as the focus of the morning plenary panel at the New York City Employment and Training Coalition’s (NYCETC) annual Workforce Summit. Moderated by Hub Director, Stacy Woodruff, the panel included Hub Senior Fellow and Monitoring the Minimum Wage author Dr. James Parrott; Founder and CEO of Uncommon Goods, David Bolotsky; and Founder of Ox Verte, Jessie Gould.
