As WPTI has grown and matured, we have looked to new methods to recruit Board Members who will provide the vision and leadership to take our work to the next level.
At the end of May, our Board Chair, Blake Foote, graciously hosted our first ever Board Friendraiser event. Our current Board Members invited their network of friends and colleagues to learn more about WPTI, what we do, and how we serve the workforce development community.
Perhaps we are biased, but we thought the event was a smashing success! It gave all attendees a chance to network with like-minded peers from a variety of industries, make connections, and learn about WPTI's culture and impact. We are so grateful to each and every person who took time out of the hustle and bustle of their everyday life to come spend an evening discussing ways they can put their time and talents towards a worthy cause. The energy and excitement in the room was tremendous, and we believe the relationships started that evening will last for many years to come!
