On October 17, Stacy along with Karen-Michelle Mirko of Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Corporation presented a workshop on The Hub's current work on Monitoring the Minimum Wage. SEL Thought Leaders Forum - Elevating Education Through Relationships and Transformative Thinking presented by Sanford Harmony and NYC Department of Youth and Community Development On October 17, Sabeen Pirani, WPTI's Director of Training, attended the SEL Thought Leaders Forum - Elevating Education Through Relationships and Transformative Thinking presented by Sanford Harmony and NYC Department of Youth and Community Development. This event focused on social emotional learning (SEL), and featured guest speakers and panelists: Duncan Meyers, Manager of Research at Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), Tom Roderick of Morningside Center for Social Responsibility, and Stacey Alicea of Ramapo for Children.

The event featured a discussion with Miguel Gamiño, Jr., New York City's Chief Technology Officer, Cordell Schachter, Chief Technology Officer, NYC Department of Transportation and Archana Jayaram Deputy Commissioner of Strategic Planning and Policy, New York City Department of Buildings. Discussion of topics included: cybersecurity, shared services, and updates on tech initiatives in NYC.
