Adolescent Brain Development in the Context of Workforce Development

Meaningful application is the goal of this training. Participants gain a better understanding of adolescent brain development through a trauma lens; and gain tools, resources, and best practices. Opportunities to plan for implementation are stressed. In addition to the knowledge and skill acquired in the training, participants explore how to empower youth by sharing the information included in the training. The Annie E. Casey Foundation and the National Association of Social Workers developed the tools and the approach used during the session.
