From Finding Your Desk to Finding Your Way: Getting Grounded as a Program Director with DYCD (for WIOA Program Directors)

WPTI is offering a series of leadership workshops titled “Making Way: An Onboarding Guide for Program Directors.” These three workshops are designed to be taken as a series although participants can also choose to take one, two, or all three sessions. One intention of the series is to help foster a leadership community among new and returning DYCD WIOA Program Directors. Therefore, full participation in the series is encouraged.

In this kickoff workshop, participants will be introduced to a range of important orientation topics connected to their roles and helpful organizational tools will be introduced: Setting and Committing Onboarding Goals, Receiving Onboarding Training, Starting a Master Program Calendar, Getting to Know Your Participants and Program, and Your Program’s Mission will all be introduced.
