Continuing the Conversation: Organizational Recovery Post-COVID-19 (Online)

Join Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI) and Public Works Partners at our second convening of workforce development leaders to discuss how our organizations can meet the needs of staff and program beneficiaries now and post-COVID-19. At our first convening, Overcoming Challenges and Adapting New Strategies on April 22, we were reminded of the value of bringing the workforce community together to share experiences and resources during this challenging time. The WPTI and Public Works teams are excited to invite you to continue the conversation.

Public Works Partners and the WPTI are hosting an online convening of workforce development leaders, directors, and senior staff to discuss and share strategies for moving through this crisis, supporting your staff and participants and preparing your organization for the post-COVID-19 environment. This 90-minute facilitated discussion will address strategic, operational and tactical questions leaders have, brainstorm solutions and share lessons learned.

More specifically, the discussion will center on the following three questions:

  1. What are the strategic management questions that leaders in the workforce development sector should be engaging with?
  2. How are organizations in the workforce development sector adapting to the new financial/operational realities and constraints?
  3. How can scenario planning and other tools help organizations become more resilient now and in the future?
