Part 2 | Job Seeker Prep: The Job Search, Resumes, and Virtual Interviews (For DYCD Providers Only)

Today’s job search requires workforce programs serving job seekers to look below the surface of a company or organization. They will have to understand the employer, industry, and company as a whole. This 2-part training will provide tools and techniques to assist job seekers in navigating the job market.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Assist job seekers in developing resumes, cover letters and understanding industry trends
• Know what employers look for and what job applicants have to share to get to the front of the line
• Utilize online platforms and job fairs to connect job seekers to businesses
• Prepare job seekers for virtual interviews to stand out in the crowd
