The Art of Assessment: Tools to Evaluate Skills and Abilities (Open to the Public)

Skills assessment tools allow workforce professionals to determine each job seeker’s strengths and challenges. Assessing job seeker’s skills is an essential first step to finding success in their job search as well as discerning what pool of skills you have to offer your employer partners. Tracking knowledge and skill’s gaps also allows the workforce professionals an opportunity to re-evaluate their training.

In this 90-min training, participants will:

• Determine which assessment methods, strategies and tools are best for your participants and programming needs
• Share how to customize your assessments
• Discuss how to use the data to identify the job seeker potential and skills gaps as well as training solutions
