WPTI Briefing: Voices from the Frontline – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

WPTI and the Workforce Field Building Hub are pleased to announce a virtual briefing and discussion in connection with Voices from the Frontline: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for New York City’s Frontline Workforce Development Professionals, the third report in the Voices from the Frontline series based on data collected through the 2020 Survey of NYC Frontline Workforce Professionals.

REGISTER HERE.

The report examines issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion for frontline workers in New York City’s workforce development system, including how these issues interact with pay and benefits, opportunities for advancement, and the subjective day-to-day experience of these workers. It builds upon the groundwork laid in our first two Voices from the Frontline reports, including our August 2020 overview of top-line findings from our 2020 survey and our January 2021 report on compensation and benefits.

The briefing will feature:

  • A presentation on the report’s key findings
  • Conversations with workforce development leaders and experts on the topic of frontline compensation and its relationship with systemic issues facing the workforce and human services sectors
  • Breakout sessions for guests and participants to share their perspectives on this critical topic

Space is limited, so please RSVP soon! A link to the virtual briefing will be sent to all registrants within 24 hours of the event.
