WPTI Briefing: Voices from the Frontline – Job Quality

WPTI is pleased to announce a virtual briefing and discussion in connection with Voices from the Frontline: Job Quality for NYC’s Frontline Workforce Development Professionals, the third report in the Voices from the Frontline series based on data collected through the 2020 Survey of NYC Frontline Workforce Professionals.

The briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12, from 9:00-10:30 am. Tickets are free of charge.

To register for the briefing, CLICK HERE.

The report addresses job quality, examining both financial and non-financial factors that impact a workforce professional’s day-to-day work experience and their job satisfaction. While previous reports have addressed financial factors, such as salary and benefits, this report looks into more nuanced and subjective elements of job quality – such as how a workplace can offer flexibility, a sense of meaning and belonging, and personal and/or professional growth, among other motivators.

The briefing will feature:

  • A presentation on the report’s key findings
  • Conversations with workforce development leaders and experts on the topic of job quality, including strategies for improving job quality within workforce development and nonprofit organizations
  • Breakout sessions for guests and participants to share their perspectives on this critical topic

Space is limited, so please RSVP soon! A link to the virtual briefing will be sent to all registrants within 24 hours of the event.
