Prior to the launch of the Field Building Hub, Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI) hosted a series of sector convenings with service providers who placed jobseekers in industries including technology, healthcare, and retail. Across those gatherings, it became evident that:

WPTI's Board of Directors and Staff hosted our third annual Fall Benefit on September 25th. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with a record turnout of over 100 guests from the workforce development field and beyond. We had much to celebrate with the growth of our organization and addition of the Workforce Field Building Hub.

On September 19, The Field Building Hub’s "Monitoring the Minimum Wage" brief series served as the focus of the morning plenary panel at the New York City Employment and Training Coalition’s (NYCETC) annual Workforce Summit.
