Our New, Virtual Reality: Managing Remote Teams (Online)

Date

April 14, 2020, Monday

Time

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Program Description

This is part of a series for workforce development professionals who are transitioning to a remote-work environment.

As you transition to managing teams remotely, how do you keep connected with your teams when you are not in the same space? Zoom can be a great tool for communicating with teams, building collaboration, and checking-in with your staff. Join WPTI for an interactive workshop to discuss how to build a culture that engages your team in a virtual world.

Upon completion of this workshop, managers will be able to:

  • Set-up virtual staff meetings to check-in and build collaboration;
  • Schedule one-on-one check-in to provide support and guidance to individual staff members; and
  • Use Zoom for team-building activities for staff.

If you are staff for a DYCD Advance & Earn program, please do not register for this training. Additional trainings are being planned specifically for you.

Registration closes on Monday, Friday, April 10, 2020, at 5:00 pm. If this training is full, you will be placed on a waitlist.
