Program Description

This is part of a series for workforce development professionals who are transitioning to a remote-work environment.

Are you brand new to using Zoom, or have you never used it? This 60-minute training for workforce development professionals covers the basic functions of the popular video conference platform. Get an overview of Zoom so you can include this tool in your practice to communicate with team members and participants.

This workshop is for Zoom beginners and is the first in a series titled “Our New, Virtual Reality.”

A portion of our time together will be spent on virtual networking as we practice fundamentals.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the basic functions of Zoom;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how Zoom may be leveraged in their professional practice;
  • Demonstrate the norms of using video conferencing tools in a professional setting.

If you are staff for a DYCD Advance & Earn program, please do not register for this training. Additional trainings are being planned specifically for you.

Registration closes on Monday, April 6, 2020, at 2 p.m. If this training is full, you will be placed on a waitlist.
